Prairie Dinner and Concert

 Green Connections’ Ninth Annual

Prairie Dinner and Concert

September 30, 2017

Our favorite evening of the whole year:
friends who care about the planet gather on the prairie for a leisurely afternoon visit around the farm,
an elegant dinner along Doe Creek,
amazing homemade music in the old round-top barn,
and the Milky Way splashed all across the sky.

Leisurely farm visit begins at 3 p.m. Visit the straw bale and mud hermitage; walk on the prairie, the labyrinth; sit on the farmhouse front porch.
At 4:30, we gather on the creek where Chef Barb from Kam’s Kookery serves another amazingly delicious five-course local foods dinner.
Woods & Waters provide the wine.
And wonderful prairie singer, song-writer Ann Zimmerman concertizes in the barn, while a fire glows just outside. Click the link to see Ann sing “Blue Wild Indigo.”

$75 per person. Proceeds go to Green Connections for its nature education programs.
